TANEXPO was founded in 1998 and is held in Bologna every two years. Over time it has become the first funeral fair that promotes the made in Italy in the world for the number of visitors and exhibition area size.
Tanexpo is an historical record fair, with a growing trend: this is testified by the more than positive numbers of Tanexpo 2018, which again this year has confirmed itself as the world's leading fair: "18,700 visitors, coming from 55 countries, they recorded a +4% compared to the previous edition (funeral enterprises, cemetery workers, wholesalers of funeral articles and cemetery art, funeral services companies, marble workers, municipal companies and public administrators) and over 250 exhibitors, of which 30% international (+10% compared to 2016), on a total exhibition space of 23,000 square meters. Many news and curiosities proposed by exhibitors: from the urns to the coffins (with interesting experiences in the green field and a growing market for animal urns ), from funeral art to accessories, to insurance services and to technological and IT innovations that make the sector more and more in step with the times of a world obal and social." A great success, in short, the result of an intense work of relationships and teamwork by the organizers, but also, and above all, of the quality products given by the excellence of the exhibitors.
One of the crucial points of the Tanexpo 2018 review was training; for this purpose, an ad hoc session was set up, TanexpoEducation, with the aim of offering, on the one hand, suitable instruments for a greater professionalization of the sector, and on the other hand, developing the right methodologies to increase its competitiveness on the territory.
